Honey Bee Experience

Terry Ross, who has been a  beekeeper since 1994,  will be offering a Beginning Beekeeping Course for first time beekeepers. The hands-on course (including suiting up and working in the hives) will consist of three classes spread out through the Spring and Summer of the year.  Each class will focus on what beginners need to know in order to become successful beekeepers without having to remember everything in a six hour time period as offered at most beekeeping classes.  The cost of each class will be $45.00 and there will be a limit of 24 students.  Pre-registration application and payment must be received three days  before each class date. Lunch is provided for each class. All your needed beekeeping supplies will be available for purchase.

2017  Private Classes for Adults

We do offer  private one on one or two) private classes for adults.  The cost is $35 per hour per person.  We limit these private classes to a maximum of two adults.  These classes are offered from March through October if we are still having warm weather in October.  We cannot open up hives when temperatures  are below 50 degrees.  Also note that when we are experiencing extremely hot temperatures during the summer months the bees do get a little more aggressive.

Call Jeannie Ross to discuss and arrange private classes at 770-776-6094 or Email: jeannie@rossberryfarm.com
